Buyer’s credit involves extending credit to the international buyers or overseas importers of Qatari exporters. This program intends to increase Qatari exports by incentivizing international buyers to trade with Qatari exporters.

- QDB Buyer Credits complement and/or enable typical commercial finance offerings, often providing longer tenors (up to 20 years for projects) and assuming country risks where there is limited availability of bank finance.

Eligibility Criteria:
Financing is offered to international buyers of Qatari exporters, taking into account the following consideration:
- A minimum of 20% Qatar value addition (equals Qatar Content), for goods to be supported by a Certificate of Origin provided by the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (for goods only).
